Jinx Jinx is a Skill Game. The goal is to reach as much points as possible by matching the numbers on the spiner with matching the numbers on the board. On the end of the game you get a bonus round with which you can make a lot of extra points. The rules: You get 8 normal rounds to play, and one bonus round. In each normal round you’ll get at least one number to match. (You can play it, you don’t have to). When you match a number, you’ll get 500 points. When you also complete a line with matching that number, you get 2000 points. A line is a horizontal, diagonal or vertical line. The game has wilds, which you can play anywhere in te column and super wilds which you can play anywhere on the board. Some of the numbers on the spiner are not silver but gold. These are the special ones as they coult double. So you’ll get 1000 points and even 4000 when completing a line. However, there is a limit: You can play maximum 3 times a golden number. After that the gold is finished, they’ll turn silver. When a super wild is gold and you cannot play it to match a line you can click it, then it turns silver. That way you save your gold for the next round. Be carefull with that, clicking it again means you want to skip it. (This feature is not in the documentation of the game, but it works) Every once and a while the witch shows up. She is no good, she makes your score lower with a random percentage. In your chat window you’ll see how much. Sometimes you might not want to play your numbers or play the wilds/superwilds different when the witch shows up. There is also a kind fairy. She is much sweeter than the witch, she raises your score with a random percentage. Try to make as much points as possible when she shows up. So you don’t have to do anything special, as you try to make as much as points anyways.

The bonus round

After the normal rounds you’ll get a bonus round. You can win 0, 2000,4000 or 6000 points or.. get x2 (doubles your score), x3 (trippels your score) or even x4.

Playing the bonus round is easy. You have to find the fairy.  She is hidden behind one of the fields on the board. You’ll get 3 clicks: Click on one of the fields and either the fairy shows up (you won !) or you see an arrow pointing in the direction where the fairy is.

So you know where she could be and make your next click on one of these fields. To help you you see $-signs on the board. The fairy is behind one of the dollar signs, she cannot be anywhere else.

After you did it a few times, it is simple and you’ll often find her.

In the normal round you determine how many points you can win in the bonus round. It is determined by the <b>las</b> line you complete:
- Is that the first column from the left or the first row from top? 0 points.
- Is it the second column or the second row? 2000 points.
- The third column or row? 4000 points.
- The fourth column or row? 6000 points.
- One of the diagonals? 5000 points.
- The second diagonal (you already got one but now get also the second): x2
- You complete all these : the second row, the third row, the second column and the third colun (this makes a sort of a cross on the board) : x3
- You complete the entire board: x4.

In case with playing one number you make multiple of the combinations above, you’ll get the best one.

Play a bit fast in the bonus round, when you take too much time thinking you’ll get zero points and the game is over.

Strategy

To help you on the way a bit:

• Besides scoring many points it is important to make the score you can win in the bonus round a good one. In the last rounds, if you already got e.g. x2, see if you do want to play the numbers, you can also skip them.
• The fields in the middle of the board are important, they are needed for both x2 and x3..so when you get a joker, you might want to put it there.
• When you aim for a a bit higher score you just won’t get it without getting x2, x3 or x4 in the bonus round. So you can place your jokers risky in order to get more chance on that.
• With gold numbers: Watch the order in which you play numbers. It is important to make a line with gold..that is 2000 points extra.
